I have been living at Montelena since September '07 and have overall had a positive experience. There have been a couple of hicups here and there but they are things that could happen anywhere and I do happen everywhere. The staff has always been very friendly, cheerful and helpful to me. When I moved in I inquired about hanging pictures and putting nails in the wall. They told me that their renters are welcomed to make the apartment their home and I would not get charged for hanging artwork, etc. Most apartments I have lived in previously would charge at move out for each nail hole in the wall. I really appreciate that they will not nickle and dime you upon your move out. I also appreciate that they were very open to renters with pets. I feel that Montelena is a great value for the price that I pay in rent and I would recommend it to other potential renters.
