This place is an absolute nightmare. You constantly have to fight to get any maintenance done, and when (if) you ever get the work done, it will never be done right the first time. During our last summer at this miserable excuse for a property, the air conditioning unit went out. We kept calling and calling, and kept getting nowhere. The maintenance staff at the property told us we would have to call the corporate office to get a new air conditioner because the management 'didn't want to spend the money for a new one.' We went without any air at all for eight days. The temperature in the apartment reached approximately 105 degrees fahrenheit, and two of our animals suffered heat stroke and died.
The entire property was constantly left in a terrible state of disrepair. When the tenants next door to us were evicted, they made no effort to clean up the apartment. The management has left the apartment vacant for almost three months now, with animal excrement on the floors, entire colonies of roaches, and mold growing throughout. Several other units were left in similar states for months on end...the management does not do a drop of make-ready on apartments, nor do they do any upkeep to the property. Our apartment was left with several holes in the walls and ceiling for over two months; no one ever showed up to do any repairs.
Parking is impossible, the noise is terrible, and the smell of the property is dreadful. Animals and children are running around at all hours with no supervision at all. The police are constantly being called out to the property, and are usually out there on their own with drug dogs. There is no safety lighting around apartment entry ways. You would think that with all the money they get in rent, they could afford to keep the property up. And the sad part about it is, they CAN afford it, they just don't do it. So where is all the money going' The management staff obviously does not care about the state of the property, and is excessively difficult to deal with.
This is not a place anyone wants to live in.
