I lived here for six years from 95 - 01. Over that period the complex traded ownership twice. The nice thing was that most of the staff remained intact through both changes. The same was true for the maintenance crew. Most of the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. They worked with me when there were problems, were polite and respectfull ALL of the time. I can only wish the staff at my current apartment even knew what respectful meant. The staff were one of the best parts of the community. Other advantages were the fact that the apartments were a little older (circa '85), and subsequently a little bigger. My 1 bedroom was around 850 sq feet. Most of the newer apartments seem to keep 1 bedrooms less than 800 sq ft. Also I liked the fact that the area is wooded and all of the oak trees were not knocked down during construction. This makes the area feel more neighborly and established. My unit had a nice pleasant view of trees with balcony. Many older residents make it a very quiet place to live. Very low crime too since the retired tend to keep an eye on things.
