I am currently living here and I moved here from a different state in June. When I called in advance to get the apartment set up, because at the time, it was $529 for exactly what I wanted, I gave the manager my credit card number for the deposit. Well, she seemed to have lost it because I called her back about a week or so later and she had lost my credit card number and my apartment went up almost $100. I paid it anyway, seeing as how I needed a new apartment. Well, since we've moved here, I have asked multiple times for someone from maintenance to put the face plates over the sockets. Well, now our toilet is sinking into the floor and one day we are afraid that we'll be using it and falling into the older lady below us' apartment.
This place has been a nightmare from before day 1 and when my lease is up, my boyfriend and I are looking elsewhere.

i agree totally. me and my boyfriend moved here in june and i feel the same way. we dont eve nget COLD water. the manager told us that because of where the water tower facing. we wont get that cold of water because the sun hits it directly. Thats funny because my neighbors water if perfectly fine. When we moved in instead of fxing things they just "patched them up" for a quick fix. Someone vandalized the workout room by vomiting on the carpet and ripping the thermostat off the wall.As soon as our lease is up, were out! i hope this helps future residents!!!

I have lived at Southridge Apartments for about a year. I was very happy until the property was sold. Since then there has been no maintenance on the landscape. There are weeds, rodents, plastic bags in the bushes, etc. The maintenance requests are not filled in a timely manner. Most of the time the item is not fixed, requiring 2, 3 or more calls. I like the manager and believe she would like to do more. when I rented the apartment it was advertised for a specific amount. When I got ready to sign the lease it was $50 more. Since then, they have leased my same apartment for the advertised price. Bottom line, I will probably try to find a place w/ better ethical and maintenance standards. However, I wish these issues could be fixed because I do not want to move.

I did notice the prices on the apts change - negotiate and get it in writing
