Horrible as far as the noise sheilding and security is concerned From: yarlagdd Date posted: 12/25/2003 Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2003   While moving from chicago, we saw this online and tried to move there. But upon signing the lease, we found out that this was a very bad apartment with serious problem with regards to security. We moved out the apartment the same night. Lost the deposit but felt that it was the right thing to do. These apts are not suitable for a regular white collar job holders. The noise damping is absent. So, that one single night we tried to stay there, we could hear the showers from every apt on the top floor. When I contacted police the next day about the apt, they told me that they do have to go to this apt complex quite a lot because of the complains. May be we should have caught it, when the mgmt guy kept saying that if anything happens, "Please call 911 first and then us." That should have triggered some red flags, but being naive we never gave it a second thought. I think it was my mistake to sign the apt without looking at it. But after driving from chicago, frustration gave in and I did a costly mistake. I think the change of name was also a trick to conceal the true issues.
