** Since this post,
- The rent on that 2/2 for a new tenant is almost $200 more.
- I've found mold and water damage in the ceiling of my laundry room. I called the front office twice and they have yet to respond.
- The quality of renters has severely gone down, and thus the police have been more present than in previous years.

I actually LOVE Hidden Lakes. The only reason that I'm leaving is because the prices are getting rediculous since Monarch Properties took over. The only problem that I've really had with them is that their accounting doesn't seem to keep track. Apparently I had an $86.00 credit from July that they failed to inform me of. When it was an Equity Property, I got a notice on my door if I was a penny over (no exaggeration). My 2/2 is now renting for almost $100 more... when I got here, it was $779!

I am right there with you on this topic. The new staff in my opinion is very rude, and they tell you one thing and do something else, and never call you back when they say they will. When Equity owned Hidden Lakes, I said to people that this is the place to live... not anymore! You better get everything that they say to you in writing or they will change it on you. Bad place to live now that Monarch bought Hidden Lakes... BUYER BEWARE, Nice apartments not such a great team in the office.

omg the same happened to me! i paid my rent and water at the first of the month and two weeks later i got some notice on my door saying i owed them all kinds of money i didnt! i called the office and they said to call their accountant the next day! sorry its not my responsibility to keep up with your books idiots! I live in a 2/2 and it is ridiculous how much more they are charging for rent just because of a few new applicances and upgrades that everyone could live without. I cant wait to get out of here its draining my wallet!

i didn't realize i wasn't the only one going through the same thing. i have a 2/2 and the rent increase is awful! The staff is extremely rude. They screwed up on my billing a couple of times and it was I who had to research and prove they were billing me incorrectly. And did they apologize for the inconvenience and embarrassment of posting an eviction notice??...NO! And yes, you HAVE to get EVERYTHING in writing with the staff.
