I have not had any positive experiences living here for the past year. Almost every day the Haltom City Police are here attending to something that has happened. After I moved in I read a news article about someone getting murdered in the same building I live in about a month before I moved here. This place is fine for someone like me, but I would not ever recommend this place for women or children. I have a pistol permit and always have my gun ready for someone that breaks in. I also have a motion detecting security camera that records movement pointed at my door and window. I have had people that work for the complex come and look in the window when I'm not home and mess with the door handle. I changed the locks right away when I moved in. There is a major problem with roaches and other insects here. Whenever maintence has been needed they have never worked around my schedule. I have never given anyone permission to enter my apartment without me being present, because I don't want anything stolen from me. Because of this and the fact that they can't enter my unit without breaking the door or window and being recorded doing it, they are very rude to me. I plan on moving out of here in the summer. I think unless you take precausions like I have to keep yourself safe and make sure nothing gets stolen without video recording the person doing it, that it would not be a good idea to live here.
