My family stayed in this complex from June 2003 to November 2003 while having our home built.
We found that the buildings were not very well maintained with damage to stone exterior on garages remaining unrepaired for the 5 months was I was in the complex.
We were charged an extra premium for being on the back side of the complex, which as it turns out also put us near the trash compactor.
Management was informed by a neighbor and myself of a coral and rattlesnake found in building breezeway.
The management did not offer any assistance with removing the snakes or providing any pest control measures that might deter the snakes.
The third snake to appear around our apartment bit and killed my dog.
Two weeks after my dog was killed management had a crew come in with weedeaters and cut down brush behind our building.
I submitted copies of bills over $900 to the management showing the expenses incurred trying to save my dog and was told that it was not covered under the companyâs liability.
Also, other tenants of the complex were never notified of the snakes and had pets and children in the same area where my dog was bit.
We required numerous calls about having pest control come out for ants in our closet and scorpions in the apartment.
I have also spoken to other former tenants that noted problems with getting any of their deposits back even though they had paid to have the apartment cleaned and carpets shampooed.

with all due respect for your loss, but YOU DID CHOOSE to move out into the COUNTRY where snakes, scorpions, and such live. wildlife should not be the managements fault, you chose to come out here and chose to live in your location at your complex.
