10/02/07 by starrcruzz: I am a single mother of a toddler girl and lived at Mcduffie Apts for 9 months. First of all the owner stated to me in writing that he does not execute leases that terminate in the winter months(October through February).I moved in December 15,2007 and my lease expired in August.I thought that to be odd most apartments are eager to get you in a year lease but that would mean my lease would be more

09/11/14 by anonymous: Been here a very short time and now receiving mails from management saying there have been many breakins of apts and cars. I do not feel safe being a single woman. I thought for the price it would be more secure. Looking to move. Sales people never told me how much theft occurs here. Stay away! more

08/25/14 by anonymous: The maintenance staff there is horrible! You would think with a take over they would have hired better maintenance. Takes forever for them to come look at the problem and when they finally do its almost another week before its fix. more

03/31/10 by anonymous: I work as a consultant, lived in Tower Gardens for 3 years, and always paid my rent early. PROS: - Great location, within 5 minutes of 610, 59, and I-10. - The complex has a sleepy feel to it. It is mostly populated with friendly older people. CONS: - Your car will get broken into. The parking lot lacks adequate lighting so burglaries are fairly frequent. In my time there I more

04/20/09 by missingyou2009: I lived at The Woods for about 6 months. Although I wasn't there very long, I quickly realized that the office manager (Janice) and the maintenance man were very helpful. The location is great, the schools in the area are Galena Park I.S.D. and wonderful. You can easily get anywhere in town because the belt way and loop 610 are minutes away. I never had a hard time getting things done more

08/25/14 by anonymous: We moved in earlier this year and based on how well we have liked the community, I am surprised by all the negative reviews on here. Our move in was great...apartment was great...staff was friendly...well organized...etc. There is some noise from the retail below but to be honest, when you choose to live on top of retail, I think some noise should be expected. It's worth it to us to be so more

05/12/14 by anonymous: My son and I just moved almost a couple weeks ago...So far, the leasing office has been extremely helpful and patient with my move. The grounds are pretty well kept. My son loves the playground. We haven't had a chance to swim in the pool, but my unit is pretty close to one and it looks clean. Maintenence has come out twice to my unit. And each time, they were prompt and the more
