The apartment complex was recently renovated and everything is pretty nice and new.

Some pluses - the floors, kitchen amenities, bathroom, bedroom etc are very nice. The staff is excellent and extraordinarily helpful. The tenants are pretty friendly and for some odd reason people that live are generally pretty good looking -- generally 20-30s crowd.

Some negatives - sound control in my apartment is an issue. I can hear my neighbors have sex. I have a balcony outside my apartment and after weekends I find cigarette butts and broken bottles on my balcony from tenants above me. Multiple cars have been broken into despite the gated parking. The security gaurd is only intermittently present and usually not between 3-8 AM, when most crime occurs. The area around the apartment is changing quickly but for the time being is very unsafe at night--I have been propositioned by bums, prostitutes, and coke dealers. My girlfriend has crazy issues finding parking and the area is really not safe for her after dark. When she comes by I walk a block or two to where she's parked and walk her in because she doesn't feel safe and I don't blame her.
