My apartment flooded

Two weeks after my husband and I had moved into one of the first floor units, it rained and our entire apartment was flooded with water up to our ankles.

All of our belongs some still in boxes got soaking wet.

When we indicated to management that we wanted to move a unit on a higher floor, management tried to get us to drop the issue.

When we pressed them on the issue and my husband demanded that we be relocated to a different unit they acted like the request was unfounded.

They did volunteer to have a moving company move our belonging to the new unit but then to top off an already bad situation, the moving company they hired stole my diamond necklace that my husband gave me when we got married.

Again, the management company accepted no responsibility for anything.

My husband and I got out of there as fast as we could.

I thought when we moved in that it would be a wonderful place to live seeing as it was brand new and in a prime location, but my happy dreams became nothing but nightmares.
