Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2007
Anyone who views this or any of the post prior to this one know that the truth is being told, all that you have read is not an exaggeration. The apartments themselves are pretty nice and in a pretty nice area. The Management staff makes this condominum bad, they do a horrible job! I could go on and on about the things I've experienced but that would take a few pages!!!
You have already read about how the management office disappeared in January for 3 weeks, so i wont go into that issue; or the fact that a side of the gate was knocked down and wasnt fixed for about 3 months, or that the elevators are always broken, or that the hall way light are out maybe once every 2 months.
I had a maintanance problem with a pipe behind a wall which i complained about since December when i moved in. They lied and said the problem was fixed and it wasnt, in march i then went back to the office about 6 times requesting that the problem be fixed and nothing was done. I even spoke with the Manager of the office who by the way is very unprofessional and nothing was done, she wouldn't even return most of my emails to her. I demanded that if the problem could not be fixed that they would have to transfer me to another apartment and they agreed to that as long as I paid the going rate for a bigger apartment since they didnt have my floor model available along with stating that if i did transfer apartments I would have to renew my lease from the time of the transfer. KEEP IN MIND THAT ALL THIS WAS DUE TO A PROBLEM WITH MY CURRENT APARTMENT THAT THEY COULD NOT FIX! Not to mention that my access key doesn't work on all the doors that it should it only works on 3 doors out of 6 possible entry ways into the building, i complained about that since march and nothing has been done to the present day.
To make things even worse the office is supposed to be open on the weekends and i cant tell you how many people come to see apartments and the leasing office is closed....no one is there and they should be. One of the employees lives in the building and he just puts a note on the door that he's out showing the property to future residents but he's really not doing that he's in his apartment relaxing.....How do i know' Because he lives on my floor.
With all that said I took it to my lawyer and it has been resolved they were forced to let me out of the lease early and i am now moving into a great highrise in the greenway area.
Don't make the same mistake i made!
