The management office, run------------------------------------ is the worst management ever. They are incompetent, irresponsible, and rude.
---, has been known to work out in the tenants' gym during working hours, all the while leaving a note on the locked door of the office that the "staff are showing units" when this is totally false. He is extremely lazy and a liar. He also promises that maintenance will be completed, and it never gets done, including installing refrigerators, which are promised in the leasing contract.
--- is a complete beeotch. She is extremely patronizing to all the residents, refuses to let tenants contact the overseeing management company (b/c she is afraid of the complaints of her suckery, of which she is absolutely 100% guilty). She never returns phone calls, if she answers the phone, which she never does. She and the rest of the office staff take 3-9 hour lunches and are never available. Worst of all, if you file a complaint with someone from the company (capstone), she will call you and harrass/threaten you for having notified someone of her idiocy.
3)The elevators are dangerous, never fixed, and work even less -----------------.
4)The carpet in the hallways, which are lit as well as a medieval dungeon, makes the Jefferson's carpet look modern.
5)The cable is unreliable, maybe possibly due to the fact that they have forgotten to pay for the bill sometimes.
6)It took them over 1 year, 4 persons' brain and manpower, an untold # of phonecalls, and I'm guessing an abacus to figure out the assigned parking system. And half of the spaces are on the grass, partially uncovered, anyway.
7)The only good thing about the place, the clubhouse, was recently shutdown (I'm guessing------- is allowed to use it now during his breaks, I mean work, I mean o whatever). Now it is locked and none of the paying tenants (who have real jobs and less than 2 dogs) can use it.
8)The apartments are nice, but that is b/c of the construction/contractors. It has nothing to do with the management. Do not be fooled. If management = construction, this place would be a cardboard box with a lipstick painted sign.
9)It takes them months to do anything simple, basic, required by the leasing agreement, and provided by most reasonable human beings, such as mail keys, appliances, timely maintenance, basic decency, courtesy, and IQs > 40.
10)Seriously, isn't 1-9 enough'' Boycott this place (Gramercy apartments 2600), boycott the company (Capstone), and help the tenants put this place out of business for good.
