Good value.

I have been here almost two years and feel pretty qualified to review these apts. The bad first: dumpster problem (once a week is not enough), dirty hallways (no one has used a vacuum for months), constantly broken elevators, parking garage (cars will not pull up when parking on the exterior), and insane traffic right in front of gates (more like a one lane drag strip for employees of St. Lukes Minor Emerg). However, once I survive the mess surrounding the complex, wiggle my way through the tight parking, survive the smell coming from the dumpsters, and take a stroll down the dirty hallway (glass bits in front of neighbors door have been there since the day they moved in), I get inside my incredible apartment: hardwood floors, black granite countertops, cherry (looking) cabinets, all new stainless steel appliances, and large walk-in stone shower, I could not care less about the outside. Even if mgmt doesn't take pride in the complex, I still think this is a great value. My service calls are handled immediately. The earlier postings about this being a dump and everyone is moving out...why are there no units for lease' They are 100% full. New management has taken small steps toward improving this place, but have a long way to go. I'm signing up for year 3 because I have yet to find apts this new/nice in this (Rice Village anyone) or any other area inside the Loop. I urge anyone to post a better value. PLEASE, I haven't signed the new lease, yet! I'm open to suggestions.
