Quite the disappointment

My lease ended in July thankfully.
I lived at 3000 almost since it was first opened and did not particulary enjoy the experience; although I must say it did improve during the time i lived there.
The complex has been very reactive to safety, rather than proactive to prevent it.
After each wave of crimes, a new measure was put in place, but they wouldn't consider it until there were more crimes.
There were cars broken into with items stolen, cars put on blocks with their wheels taken off, a purse snatched from someone while in the garage, and home doors broken down during the day.
Definitely not what I would call safe.
I also heard people from the Roxie were parking in our lot for awhile.
Also, there seem to be a lot of kids there that like to use the parking garage as their own personal race track.
Go around corners in that garage at your own risk.
Also, inside the units, I don't think the tile floors were sealed, which made it almost impossible to clean.
The biggest noise problem i had was with the hallways, not my neighbors.
You can hear everyone walking by, and if you live on a main hallway, that can be annoying.
The trash backing up was also gross.
I did like the granite countertops and the gym, though, and I don't really have anything negative to say regarding management; that's about all i can say though.
I would suggest living elsewhere; you can find much better apartments for the money you are paying.
