I have lived here for about 6 months and we have 6 more months remaining...We can't wait to leave..The management here is the worse I have ever had. The only reason we moved in here was because of a guy named Greg that works at the front. He was vey nice and sincere and took the extra time to talk to us about the apts. At last check, I have not seen him in there in a while, he was probably too good so they fired him...As far as the rest of the team, the manager is horrible. I thought that the managers job was to make sure everything ran smoothly in the apt complex, why is she always blowing up ballons in the front..Some friends of mine came to look at apts. in october and said that the manager and the staff were extremely rude. Sometimes they will not talk to you when you go down to pick something up that is at the office. Why are they so rude' You live in Houston, TX people. This is not California. It is not that big of deal to live in the Galleria so get over it...Next, the noise, which brings me to my next thing. I think they built these units with scrap metal, my dad is a engineer and he can't believe the noise that is heard from upstairs, downstairs, out in the hallway..I have the worst neighbors above and below me..I almost feel like I am living in a college dorm room because of the loud music and TVS. Hey guys, how old are we now''' Didn't you play loud music when you were like 15' I live on 3rd floor and there is someone above us who loves to walk around in shoes and high heels. PLEASE..HAVE SOME RESPECT WHEN YOU LIVE IN AN APARTMENT!!!TAKE OFF YOUR SHOES!!!Who designed the top floor to have the loudest floors possible. Those are supposed to be on the bottom floor...Why would you put Travertine-Hardwood floors on the top level'' I have never seen that until now. We have spoken to our neighbors upstairs but it did no good. They are so loud that we heard them one night fighting and throwing stuff across the apt. We called the security guy--man with no gun..He told me that he would rather me call the cops instead. I understood since he was like 70 years old...Maybe they need to spend more time walking the complex instead of sitting outside by the gate making sure you have a sticker in your window to get in..We can hear them move furniture at all times of the day and night.
The person downstairs plays ghetto music as well. The funny thing is that we called and talked to the manager and you know who you are...and she said that it is hard to determine that it is them downstairs playing the loud music. How is that hard to determine''''I went down there, knocked on the door and they would not answer..why' because the music was too loud...They have done nothing to talk to them or warn them and we have complained at least 5 or 6 times. My next call is the property management. PLEASE DO NOT LIVE HERE AS YOU WILL REGRET IT LATER...As far as living in the galleria area, only reason we did is my wife works in Sugar Land and I near Greenspointe.....Unless you like to shop a lot, it does no good. Construction is horrible and the traffic is really bad..
We cannot wait to move out as we are trying to get out sooner since nothing is being donw about the loud noises. I can understand some noise but all hours of the night is too much..
