Terrible Place! Rude Managers! Useless Office Workers!

I recently moved to Houston after college and found this apartment.

I wish I would have read the awful reviews before I signed a lease.

First, the model they showed me was NOTHING like my actual apartment.

The one they showed me was nice, but then on move in day, they gave me the keys to an apartment that had a lovely view of the Marriott parking garage next door! I was kept up by loud neighbors because the walls are paper thin and the noise from the parking garage was often excessive.

Also, the trash smelled so horrible.

I hated having to go downstairs and let guests up because they had to walk past a dreadful dumpster.

I was never able to use the wireless internet in the cafe because I was given a password.

When I asked the women at the front office, they would stop filing their nails only long enough to say "I dunno, I'll find out." Then I wouldn't hear from them again.

The manager, Margie was a piece of work, as well.

I went into the office one time to ask a question and she talked down to me and was terribly rude.

I was not impressed with anyone who worked in that office.

Also, the coffee station rarely had cups, and the printer almost never worked.

More importantly, I didn't feel safe there either.

Often times, lights were out in the garage and the hallways, which made it pretty dark.

I thought the electric doors were a nice touch, as well, until I got locked outside because they wouldn't work and the office refused to give me another key, even after I got stuck outside at 6:30 in the morning.

The pool and gym were nice, although I was often unable to get into the gym due to a broken door.

All in all, I would definitely NOT recommend this place.

I had a horrible experience and am glad my lease is finally up!
