Noisy place poorly built

When we leased the place, we asked about noise levels (could you hear the neighbors, etc.). We were told that the building was very quiet, with lots of concrete between floors etc. After living in the apartment for a week, it became painfully clear that the building was misrepresented. Noise is over the top. Between the constant hammering, sawing and other noises from unit buildouts, you can hear everything from the neighbors above (every step, bathroom noises, voices, etc.). Thank GOD we didn't buy here!!!! In addition, the kitchen cabinets and fixtures are very poor quality. Other than the friendly staff, I can't wait to move.
