I have lived in this community for the past three years. The only reason I have stayed is due to the low rent, but I will be leaving as soon as my lease is up at the end of this year. This is the worst apartment that I have ever lived in.

There are roaches. Everywhere. And it doesn't matter how many times you exterminate (when you can actually get the office to send someone out) they don't go away, they are infested. And it's been like that the entire time that I've lived here. We even purchased some pieces of wood and sealed up the cabinets ourselves to try to solve the problem.

The parking is not safe. My fiance had a tire stolen off of his car in the middle of the day (and not just the tire, the rim and everything), and whoever stole it then just dropped the car on the ground. The office did nothing. The cops are here all the time. The security guards at the front gate are a bunch of jerks, all of them, and they treat you like you don't live here. I even had one them tell me to my face that he didn't believe I was a resident and that he had never seen me before, in his three months of working there. There are 1,000 apartments in this complex. That was beyond rude.

I also have never felt safe in this community. When we first moved in, I rode the bus to work and to school since there is a bus stop right outside of the front gate and I was always afraid of getting attacked or raped. Especially when I had morning classes. I live by one of the pools, but unfortunately was not ever able to really enjoy it. Being a white female, going out to the pool alone to sun tan was completely out of the question as I would get harassed by the Hispanic men who live here. And this was not just a one time event, either. There's a lot of shady people living here. The unit below mine had at least two families living it and they totally trashed it in few months they lived there.

Another thing about the pool, parents act like it's a babysitter for their kids in the summer, and everyday from sun up until waaay after sun down there were kids playing and yelling in the pool. Practically everyday. Even though the pool "closes" at 10, no one ever enforces that.

At one point, the complex re-did some of the exterior work on the apartments, and while working on our roof somehow managed to knock down our light fixture in the kitchen. The entire thing crashed down onto the floor. When asked to fix it, the office seemed annoyed. They replaced it with a smaller fixture, and didn't fix the hole around it. I had to hassle them to bring in someone else to fix what the first guy didn't feel like doing.

The office staff is rude unless you're hispanic. They act all too annoyed when you come in, even it if's to pay rent. They towed our car for no reason and refused to do anything about it. They take full advantage of their tenants. They claim that only dogs under 25 pounds are allowed, but there's a guy who lives near me who owns a great dane, and several people have more than one dog when that is stated as not being allowed.

The only good thing I will say is that the units have washers and dryers in them. Coming from another apartment that did not, that was a good change. But that was not worth all of the other crap that we've had to put up with living in this community. I do not recommend this apartment to anyone. I am so excited to finally be leaving.
