People need to understand this is not an apartment building - it is a condo community. There are units to lease from individual owners, but 80% of those who live there own the unit. So, most complaints have little to do with the building but more with your particular landlord. There are no special ammenities for renters and if your unit has an issue (such as in need of pest control) that is an issue for your landlord. The people who own and live here keep their units in great shape. The community is upgrading seals on windows, painting the facade, cleaning carpets, landscaping, etc. The HOA took over from the builder about a year ago and had to get finances in order in order to spend. Then again, we are looking at long term value - not making renters happy for a year. SO, if you lease here - keep in mind that this is not set up for renters (no centralized rental office) and that money spent is paid by owners and will be in order of need and cost.

Clearly this is a web site for RENTERS and this information is used to aid people who possibly want to RENT at a particular apartment despite that 7575 Kirby is a condo. Why do you think they are "upgrading seals on windows, painting the facade, cleaning carpets, landscaping, etc" b/c there IS a problem with bugs, mice and odor. Not to say that these problems cant be controlled in the future but presently it is disgusting and I??m sorry for those who have financially committed to this disgusting place... that can be fixed in the "long term" for "value". I am embarrassed to have people come over because as soon as they step in the hallways they say it smells like garbage or dorm rooms. I dare anyone who doubts what I say which is 100% true to come to the building on the right side and take a walk in the hallways and experience the stench! And if one person has bugs or mice do you honestly think that they cant get into the unit beside them?? I have asked my neighbors if they have experienced roaches and they said yes. I am not the only person. And last time I checked seeing roaches in the trash room and inside trash shoot ARE a building issue and cannot be addressed by my landlord. I am the type of person who heavily relies on websites like this make my final decision and I was mislead because no one told the complete truth. Clearly you must be on the board but I will not sugar coat anything. The units look beautiful and have great layouts but nevertheless there are alot of things that need to be addressed!

hi im thinking about moving here and i heard there are some things wrong with the drainage and foundation. is this true? do you reccomend me buying a place here?

Some renters like to RENT before they BUY... for just this very reason. I truly hope you are not a realtor because you would be/ are probably highly unsuccessful.
