Look Before You Leap

In the beginning it was fine until the next week when it rained. The unusual thing about this issue was that the apt leaked and I was on the first floor. I didn't come to the conclusion that rain caused this to happen but the guy who supposedly fixed the problem. The reason why I said supposedly is because for the entire time I was there, the issue arose. I never looked into it personally because I was paying for the space and I was not responsible for maintainance. Also, when it rained the kitchen sink spewed a black pungent liquid as high as the ceiling. I didn't have to make a maintainance request on this issue after about the third or fourth time it "rained in Houston" because it was a regularly occurring thing. Parking, I own two cars and they only assign one space. This was not a problem because I just parked the second in a spot on the street. The problem arose when they shuffled parking spots every few months and tenants not being aware of the change and being left out on the street. My second car got towed because I happened to be on vacation for a while and a shuffle happened. I come to find out, they towed the car two days before I got back from vacation with a three day notice posted. Unfortunately for me I was on a caribbean vacation for 2 weeks, the first in five years and the notices supposedly went out five days before action was taken. Security was a week "beware" notice on your door letting you know that some one got assaulted in someway on the property. Overall, this was the "WORST" apt experience I have ever had. This was also my first apt in Houston after moving from Dallas. My next apartment was great and so was Houston.
