I have lived at this complex for close to 3 years now. Overall,I would recommend this complex to anyone. It is a great bargain and offers the most spacious floor plans in the area. My roomate and I share a 1200 sq. ft. apt. for only 800 a month! We are both young, single gals and have always felt safe here. Some of the neighbors are a bit strange, but overall nice people. It's is a wonderful neighborhood which helps with safety. The downsides are similiar to what has been written. The management is pretty crummy and changes frequently. However, I have never felt cheated. Maintenance staff is wonderful and kind, but you will have to call them frequently. The apts are older so you will have things break. If you are squeemish I would not recommend. My roomate and I are very neat, but we've had weevil and cockroach problems. Our disposal frequently backs up into the sink and plumbing is poor. However, for people like me, saving on rent is well worth having to call in some maintenance reports. The location is fabulous! It's close to Rice Village, minutes from Memorial Park and easily accessible from 610 or I10. Rent has increased this year for the first time in my time here. I am not sure if I'm renewing because now rent is almost comporable to other newer and nicer apts in the area. This place is worth a look though.
