A recent article about Apartment crime reads: Apartment Managers and owners cannot guaranett the safety of anyone on their property any more than the City of Houston can guarantee the safety of its citizens. Houston spends hundreds of millions of dollars on police each year, yet crime continues to exist. It is up to us as residents to make phone calls to police if we see something strange. We all have been in this position but have not made calls. We cannot hold the leasing office responsible for what happens nationwide. I am sorry for the young mans incident. It is truly unfortunate that we live in a society that we need to park under well lit areas, we can't speak to strangers and we can't open our doors. The finger should be pointed at the system - the one that allows criminals to be put back out on the streets because there is not enough room to keep them locked up.

I feel safe at 9900 but I take all measures needed, just as i would if i owned my own home. Remember, someone once said "Crime does not have an address".

well have you heard the one about the masterbating security guard at memorial!!!???? I think you need to think again..yes it was real and in a womans apartment when unawares..and yes they are contracted by the management...there is a lot more than you or I know of trust me...forgot to mention having to deal with 3 crack addicts 2 apartments away in their loungeroom to stop them beating a pregnant girlfriend of one of them...You people dont really believe its ok to put up with do ya?...So I dont care about your opinion , facts are facts and property damage, gross indecency and bashings make a sweet place huh...well my fine feathered friend..I can see you in a trailer in 10 years chewing ya wateva and swillin ya other...acceptable my ass.
