As a potential client of 9900 Memorial or others in the area I must ask you this question. Have you checked the surrounding area "Apartment Ratings"' They all sound exactly the same. They rant and rave about all the mishaps and place blame on the office. I only read these to see about maintenance issues, not crime. I read complaints that "things are falling apart" and never get's fixed...but yet they mention the 50 workers in their area. Complain when things don't get fixed and complain when they do. I bet these same people complain about traffic and then the construction that is in progress to correct. There are unhappy people at all communities, just check Fox Hall, Tanglewood, West Creek and the upity one The Promenade Memorial....it's all the same.

So this is the management's response to an unsafe complex: "it's just as bad everywhere elese"?
How about organizing a community response, discussing the issue with the local police and ask them to make rounds, ensuring that the onsite security isn't sleeping in their cars, etc?
A good manager will try to resolve an issue to the best of their ability, and even if it's out of the manager's control, he/she will come up with ways to mitigate the situation. A lazy and ineffective manager will say that there's nothing that they can do.
