We have been there for 1 year and we can t wait to get out of the place!! Management is the worst we have ever seen...They are like 4-6 people working at the office and NONE of them do anything right. That it s sad and frustrating place to live in 9900 Memorial Apartment
Do yourself a favor, go on weekend and when you see people walking around ask them, trust me everyone will say the same thing .
Area is perfect, that was our reason to move to 9900 Memorial but, it s not worth it to leave close to everything but be so unhappy with your own home
Search, do your homework there are so many apartments out there!! Am sure anything is better than 9900 Memorial Apt.
From the previous note, its true check the news!! That will tell you what kind of apartment is 9900 Memorial!!!
Good Luck to you!!!

These people may have problems with 9900 Memorial, but they have even bigger problems communicating in English. No apartment complex is perfect, and if you want it as close to perfect as possible, be ready to shell out some major $$$$. Finger Companies also has top-of-the-line properties (look on Post Oak, or further down Memorial - all in the same area), but you will pay much, much more. So, consider this: if you're renting (basically throwing money away), you may want to get the most for the least $$. 9900 Memorial has no more issues than similarly priced apartments around Houston (in far worse areas). My advice: go to grammar school, and be flexible when disaster strikes (Hurrican Ike, didn't know there was a Hurricane Hike??) It is definitely time for these tennants to take a major Hike, and good luck in finding a comparable property without spending big bucks! Oh, I've been a tennant for over 2 years, and have found the office staff very helpful (it's Suzette, by the way). From a satisfied, flexible tennant.

WOW!!! lol Nice,
Well, instead for you to teach English, why don't you do your job!! Because, am sure you are a worker from 9900 Memorial.
To tell you the true, maybe my English is not perfect but, I do have a degree am a nurse and am more professional than you.
And about pay more on my rent in other places it will be worth it. I am paying less money with 9900 Memorial but the treatment that your office is given is so poor and sad. So, don't worry just few more months and I'll be out of this HORRIBLE PLASE!!!!

We love our apartment, and are willing to deal with the multitude of issues surrounding living in such an old building. We recognize that the rent is also GREAT for the area.
We'll be moving out at the end of our lease because we are SO sick and tired of the maintenance manager, Rose, and her "as little as possible to prop the building up" attitudes towards repairs. Which isn't to say the other agents are any better - they're all friendly enough, but ill-informed. No one seems to know anyone's email address, or which AC compressor is being worked on, or which manager is on-call after hours (crucial, as they'll guarantee that your issues have been addressed while you're at work, but chances are high that they've NOT been, and that you'll need to make several after-hours calls to this person to get, say, the burned-up ceiling fan in your room replaced so that you can get some sleep in the 85-degree temperatures that their friendly letters recommend you set your AC at).
Honestly, there's only so much flexibility we can muster in the face of such overwhelming apathy/incompetence. I can't think of a single conversation I've initiated (regarding maintenance issues) that didn't begin with the silent accusation of "Seriously - would YOU want to live like this???"

The rent is actually not that GREAT for the area. Just on the other side of I-10 is the freakin' ghetto. I looked at apartments yesterday in a better area that were 20 years younger going for the same price. While the management company has about as great of a rating as the Finger Companies, the property itself was about 412 times better.
I would not pay half of my current rent to live in ANY of the Finger Company properties, luxury or not. I honestly hope they go out of business just like the furniture stores.
