Please know our team works diligently to make repairs to the garage gates but most of the time we are at the mercy of an outside contractor or parts that take time to receive. Recently, a bid to repair the exterior doors was approve so we are excited to report you should see an improvement in this area very soon. We hope you are enjoying the newly renovated hallways and HVAC units. This will be a welcome site in the summer when our hallways are nice and cool.                                         Hi Hector, We are sorry to hear that your experience with us at AMLI City Vista was less than favorable. This was an unfortunate situation regarding the false information that came up when processing your application. We were unable to move forward until you filed the dispute to clear the information on your end. This was not something we had any control over. We were not negligent in anyway nor was it a mistake/issue created by anyone on our team. We can only hold quotes for a certain period and unfortunately this situation required us to adjust your apartment and re-quote the pricing. Prices fluctuate daily according to current market situations and we are not able to offer concessions when this happens. If we were to make this exception for you, we would have to do so for everyone else that asks. This creates a situation that could be viewed as favoritism. We have these processes in place and follow fair housing guidelines so that we are consistent in our actions with prospects, residents and guests. We offered additional lease terms in the hopes that we could keep you at the same price point. Additionally, we apologize for the difficulty in reaching us this week. We are in the process of a software change and office/amenity reopening. This created an excessive amount of resident calls as we worked through first of month billing in the new software. We do our best to capture every phone call, but regrettably we have missed some this week. You are always able to reach out via email should the if you can’t get us on the phone. Again, we are sorry that this situation happened and hoped that we would be able to assist. We wish you the best in wherever you go and please feel free to reach out should you have additional questions or concerns.

                                          Theblab3290 We are sorry to read that your experience at AMLI City Vista did not meet your expectations. However, in looking into your claims, there are several discrepancies that are concerning. We do not have any record of conversations or concerns that you had prior to your move out. During your move out process, the assistant manager walked with you and discussed all charges on your account prior to processing your Final Account Statement. This was not a case of poor record keeping, but were valid charges that you were well aware of. If accounts are not paid timely, then we do submit to collections as is standard practice in the multifamily industry. Living in a big city, crime is bound to occur. Unfortunately we have had this happen at the community, but we have been proactive in our attempts to keep crime at bay with much success. We did have one elevator down for about a month after it sustained heavy damage from Imelda. Elevator parts are custom order and don't always arrive within the timeframe we would like. Both of the other building elevators were working during that time, and we apologize if having to utilize them during repairs was inconvenient for you. We utilize the Texas Apartment Association (TAA) Lease agreement which is created, managed and updated by the TAA. Should you feel the terms are heavy handed, I would suggest reaching out to TAA to discuss concerns and sharing any suggestions you may have. Our rents are based on current market, supply and demand and can change daily. We do not negotiate rents so that we remain consistent in our leasing practices, but often have other options available that can help if you are needing to be at a different price point. AMLI City Vista's occupancy remains steady and is not "at the lowest it's had in years". Occupancy does fluctuate with the market as is expected in massive housing market such as Houston. Again, we apologize that you feel we were dismissive and are happy to discuss any lingering concerns.
