Bad management!

The apartment itself was not bad, but the management was horrible. I had a leak in my bathroom ceiling that they never fixed the entire year that I lived there. When I moved in, they had DirecTV satellite wired in every apartment, and they forced us to buy receivers from their distributor. About 3 months in, the complex switched to Time Warner cable and failed to notify any of the residents. I actually had to walk into the office to ask why my tv hadn't been working for the past week. Also, they changed the gate systems while I was there, and not only did management not notify us that we had to pick up new remotes, but the remotes they gave us weren't activated for weeks. The woman in the office actually told me that I couldn't use the pedestrian gates until the remotes were working, and that I had to use the car gate entrance if I wanted to walk back into the complex (I had to hope that no one would run me over while I pressed the code for the car entrance). I don't think that apartment management could be any less responsive and any more incompetent than this.
