I live here and have a dog that I DO pick up after. This complaint is exagerated. The office has people that come 5 days a week to clean up after pets!! Give me a break.

My complaint about dogs is this: the lease states that no dog over 50lbs. will be permitted. There are SEVERAL dogs, just in the courtyard of the complex I live in that are at least 100 to 150 lbs. Besides that, the owners decide to take them out EARLY in the morning on the weekends, where they (the dogs AND the owners) tend to make enough noise to wake me from my peaceful sleep. Can nothing be done about this? How about a door to door "dog check" to see if residents are complying with the dog weight requirement? This is not unreasonable, since it seems so many are getting away with it.
