Nice place but could be better

Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2007
Moved in for about 3 months now and have had little minor peeves as listed below:
1. Delayed amenities: During showing, the leasing agent stressed the point that the apartment has a personal trainer on staff for the residents after learning that is my ultimate reason for moving in. Upon moving in, I found out through some newsletter that there will be no personl trainer for about another 4 weeks or so since the last one left. Would have been nice to know this before I moved in.
2. Maintenance: the maintenance people are plain, well sorry but, dumb. They will come out quickly, however do a half-ass job to patch up your problem. Which means to expect things to fail again a few days later. More than one ocasion I had to sit there and give directions on the repair (example, one light fixture was emitting a high pitch humming, later found out was due to the switch box dying, the first few times maintenance simply replaced the bulb and left it humming).
3. Services: this is mainly focused on that ---- guy in the office, everyone else is great. He coughs an attitude when asking him to do anything, including showing an apartment. Case example, once asked him to turn on the fireplace outside, his reply was rudely "its not cold today, why do you want it on'" My thought is that it is none of his business why I want it turned on, if this was an amenity they provide and a resident requests it, who cares if it is 110 degrees outside, he should go and turn it on (by the way, temp was approx 60 degrees that day).
On the pros, it is a nice apartment with classy people. Close to work, close to everything else too. Nice interior, appliances, amenities... etc. It is a relatively nice yuppi place and it is beautifully maintained. If you can pay the price and put up with little annoyances (which, to be fair, will exist everywhere you live), this is a great place to live. Just ask for either ------ or -------- in the office to help you, especially ------ who has always gone far and beyond what I ask her to do.
