My husband and I moved into Amli Town Square in August 2005. ------- ------- was the manager and he maintained the property, maintained a friendly, professional staff and was helpful at all times. Our experience while ------- was Manager was bliss. When ------- left we started to notice a decline in everything. My car was broken into. Another time the plates were stolen off my car. There were a few times homeless people were wandering around the property begging for money. Loud, drunken pool parties until 4am. Security gates constantly broken. Dog crap everywhere. Maintenance issues took longer to get resolved and the cat issue. The problem started with 1 manageable stray cat. The reason this became a massive problem is because of the crazy old lady that feeds them. I know she s crazy b/c the first month I lived there she asked me if she could have my dog. I witnessed her feeding the cats several times. Every day when I walked my dog around the property I found huge trays of cat food. I would bring it to the maintenance staff or the front office. Nothing was ever done and 3 kittens turned into 15 aggressive, feral cats having sex on my patio, scratching the paint on my car and hissing at me as I walked to my apartment. I called the new property manager ----- on a daily basis. ----- never did anything and her customer service skills are the worst I ve ever experienced. They never addressed anything with the crazy tenant feeding the cats. They finally decided they would try to trap the cats, which would most definitely lead to the cats being euthanized. That place has really suffered under ----- s horrible management. I finally got so fed up I demanded to be let out of my lease. I am glad I left when I did. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Also-if you need a reference for a new apt. complex or a home, they charge $50 to release the information.

With an accusation like that I can only assume you are an Amli employee and a lying and pathetic one at that. If
that type of blatant animal cruelty was actually occuring and your company did nothing about it then you are truly evil and should be reported. The best way to resolve the issue is to stop feeding the cats. Period. The cats are wild and will hunt for food elsewhere. At least that way they won't die after being trapped. Thanks for justifying that Amli does have a stray cat problem.

Stray cats, residents poisoning stray cats and apartment personnel that does not do anything about it. Sounds like a great place to live. My friend and I were considering moving to amli until we read this post. We will stay away.

in response to the first anonymous response:
if you want to own cats, get cats. not all of us want them, but we are forced to be around them because jackasses feed them. as for a woman poisoning the cats, if that were true there would be dead cats all over the place. but i have yet to see a dead cat around.
someone who lies like you, should not talk about who is going to hell
you say cats can sense evil, well people can sense ------*t and you are full of it.
i have lived at amli for almost 3 years and everything this reviewer has said is true. the cat problem has been terrible. i have scratches all over the hood and roof of my car from them and i know it is from cats because i have seen them on my car and i've seen plenty of paw prints on my windsheld.
but those scratches just match the rest of my car now from all the jackasses that live here parking on top of you, taking up 2 spots, or just in general banging into your car any chance they get.
that is still not the worst though. if all i have is a few new scratches in the morning on my car i feel lucky. twice now i have had my car broken into here in the parking lot. the first time about a year ago when i forgot to take the face off my cd player. so i had a broken window, no cd player and a broken up dashboard. the second time less than 2 months ago was just stupid. i learned the first time not to leave anything in my car. so what did that break in for? less than 1 dollar in change. i had about 65 cents in a cup holder and that what was stolen. nothing else. both times i have reported the break-ins to managment and they have done nothing either time.
i was not satisfied with the response i received from the managment here, so i called the corporate number and sent a number of emails. the response i recieved from corporate was more of the same as the managment here. nothing has been done. when i went up to the office here at amli town square to get a package (which is another horror story, they some how lose packages often) i expressed how unhappy i was with the response to the car issue, i was informed that corporate had called the office and how they had a good laugh at my expense and that i was now the joke of the office.
so i have given my notice that at the end of my lease i will be leaving.
if you are considering living here, don't. there are plenty other places that are safer, cleaner, more concerned and have a staff that is not so nasty and disrespectfull.
