So...where do I begin'''
HUGE increase in rent in my tiny 1 bedroom apt...over $100 which is just crazy, when I'm sure I could go get a great 'move in' deal at the new property across the street.
One night I sat in my apt. on a rainy evening, when I heard a guy fall to my patio. He was trying to steal the bike in the patio above me but slipped on the wet ledge at the patio above me....yeah, not so SAFE!!
PARKING:...well!!!! don't expect to keep normal hours between thurs and sun, because between, 11pm and 2am, people are driving up to 50mph through gargage and often getting in accidents while doing so...so...the druken yelling after an accident will wake you if the speeding doesn't.
ALSO (PARKING), in my year at AMLI there would 'sometimes' be someone who appeared to be a 'rent-a-cop'...but never was identifiable by his car, just always seemed to be blocking the spot i wanted to park in...he has since been gone.
ALSO (PARKING)...don't live here if you would like to have a 'blemish-free' vehilcle! I can't tell you how many times i woke in the am to find insurance adjusters measuring the parking lot for claims made.....the parking spots are WAY too small to park in!!!!
often times there were 'soliciters' at my door knocking at 11pm during the week while it was raining outside...not comfortable with that and they were pretty persistant too!
I often have packages delivered to me...and I cannot tell you how many times, I would go in, ask for a package I KNEW was there, and the office staff would go look and tell me it was not there. I would track the package, have evidence of it being there and go back the next day....all of a sudden, like magic, my package would appear...VERY fustrating!!!!!
And FINALLY,
expect to be a** r*ped when moving out! the lady who gave me my 'balance' after move out (Never owed ever before in my WHOLE life after a move out) didn't even see my apt. at my time of vacate and wrote up a VERY generic letter of 'what was wrong' wtih my apt at the time of move out....she asks for the money, however, can give ZERO expamples as to why she is asking for it...VERY bad for business.
DO NOT MOVE HERE.....!!!!! GET A NICE QUAINT PLACE NEARBY IN A HOUSE RENTAL OR JUST RENT ELSEWHERE!!!!!

You'd think that this place and the The Belair would feel the pressure from all of the new apartments going up on W. Dallas that service would be better. Rents at The Belair are outrageous and all you get is an average aparment. Your complaints remind me very much of life at The Belair.
