THIS IS HOUSTON! crime and cars are any and everywhere there are people. and there are alot of ALL THREE HERE. we have been here for 3 yrs. And in Houston for 10 yrs. We like it here now. There were management problems, for 6 mos the management was swapped out every 6 weeks. and it was impossible to get anything fixed. Loud (unexplained)noises are the norm. Cars without mufflers leaving for the day at 6:30 AM and arriving just in time for bedtime @ 11 PM. EVERY DAY SINCE WE MOVED IN.police called out every wked. break ins are not common, but DO happen here. However,wild children playing with matches near buildings are a common sight. enterance gates stay broken day and night. there was a murder about 2 blocks from our front door 2 days ago. But, you take the good with the bad. When our waterheater broke, no hot water for 3 weeks. they finally, after 6 attempts to "fix it", replaced it and left a hole only the size of a basketball in the wall. I'm sure they meant well. Our dishwasher did not clean dishes for 3 months. Our microwave still doesnt heat anything but water.when we moved in the place was dirty, they sent a cleaning crew (one girl,no english, who scrubed everything down with windex.) everything I'm saying is true. I have seen a SWAT team in full riot gear 2 buildings down form us! with guns drawn!! again, houston is houston.The INS have been here seeking illeagals. after we moved in the front door had to be replaced.There was a gap about 4 inches wide between the door and the frame. funny, even the building had moved. 3 guys, an emergency trip to the ER and 2 days later it was done.(poor guy cut off his middle finger while trying to level the door frame.) blood stained the front door area for 3 months before they sent someone to steam blast it clean. meanwhile,bloody paw prints left from animals digging through bags of trash left cooking in a breezway stained w/ this poor mans' blood.I could go on... but, like I said, the good with the bad. Take the good with the bad. The towing Co. that trolls the parking lot have yet to tow OUR car. Hats off to 'em. We are moving. PS, there is a 50 yr old red headed ex-navy character who uses the leasing office's computer to view kiddie porn. made me want to puke. Good GOD. By the way the rent is cheap. I want to add one point. This current management team is "AMAZING"

you must have the wrong apartment complex, This is an "up-scale " luxury complex. I have yet to see cops called much less SWAT. I have heard no reports of break-ins and rent certainly isn't "cheap." It's about 800 for my one bed room. that is almost 200 over the average for a one bed room on the west side of town!
