I have lived at the Amli for almost year now, needless to say i will NOT be renewing my lease! My boyfriend and I were so happy to move here a year ago but from day 1 there has been problems! We were delayed from moving in 2 days. Our toilet has not worked correctly since we moved in, it backs up continuously, every tme we call managment about the problem, nothing is done, they promised the toilet would be replaced, and it never was. The managment is my biggest complant!!! They do not work with you on anything, for instance, my boyfriend had been over charged for a pitcher of beer at stafford bowling, he was supposed to be charged $8.00 and they withdrew 8 Hundred, we let the office now of the problem and that our rent would be a day late because we were waiting for the bank to credited the funds back to his account, and they still charged us a 50 dollar fee! They are all very rude especially some new guy there, I think his name is Jason, and this fat white lady, i don't know her by name, but they are rude and unreasonable! Parking sux, you are lucky to find a spot any where near your apartment, the only good thing about the apartments is they cut the grass every two days. And I warn you, every ghetto ass is moving in!

I was there when it was "The Lodge" and I'm still there now that it's AMLI and please explain to me what "changed" and what was renovated! Nothing. It's still the same. When I moved in, they had the same pool, the same crown molding, the same garden tubs...You get my point. Those people in the office (who told you that lie) really got you snowed...Don't get me wrong, it's nice...The grounds are usually clean (except for the trash areas. HINT: If you don't empty your trash by SUnday, don't bother until Monday afternoon evening, you won't be able to stomach the smell...) and the staff is super nice. But dont' think that they just got an "A" rating becasue of the AMLI takeover. Check out the other complexes that still are the Lodge, over off of Richmond (I think it's Shadow Lake) and behind West Oaks Mall. They look just like the AMLI only w/different signs out front. So nothing has changed...I'll tell you why people moved: AMLI doesn't offer the corporate discounts like The Lodge did. I worked in a company in the Energy Corridor which is right around the corner and The Lodge offered 25 dollars off per month and no deposit or app fee if you worked for certain companies. The AMLI doesn't do that. The Lodge also offered an "out" in the lease if you bought a house during the lease, AMLI doesn't offer that. That's why people didn't renew. Not because of the price but because of all the perks that were taken away when AMLI took over...

HA HA - I think the originator of this post must work for AMLI. They renovated NOTHING when they took over except for the sign out front!
I lived there from 2003 to 2006 & the place was sliding downhill. Sure was more "riff-raff" when I moved out than when I first moved in. The trash compactors are always overflowing - make sure you get a unit far away from them! Gates work MAYBE 50% of the time....& unless you are on the 3rd floor expect to hear everything from the unit above you.

I know that fat white lady in the leasing office, and she has been very friendly to me and my family during our stay at AMLI. I understand that the mentality of a small percentage of people using this site is very minimal, but I do not understand the need to relate such negative and hurtful comments about another human being.

I agree with byebyeamli, I think AMLI staff troll this message board and try to pump the complex.
