Management sells you a dream to get you to sign the contract be sure to get everything in writing before signing your contract. Hopefully you are smart enough to not live here....
Here is just a small list of what I have to deal with
*Roaches be prepared to stockup on raid. (Outside your apt on your door, patio, everywhere)
*Hot water pressure is extremely low.
*Piping and electrical system is extremly old... I have had three busted pipes in the span of 3 months do not use a blow dryer in you restroom (be prepared for leaks and it is a good idea to invest in a surge protector)
*Mushrooms growing out of carpet near the three leaks
*Loud a$$ neighbors with ghetto a$$ kids (The complex is over run with children aimlessly walking around the complex making noise and breaking things)
*The water bill is divided evenly among all teneants (If you have 6 people in your apt or 1 person in your apt you pay the same amount)
*Staff is extremely rude and unprofessional (Locking teneants out of leasing office because they are to lazy to take rent, Arguing loudly with tennats in public, Manager is never available for questioning....etc....)
*Gates are always broken
*Useless Maintenance (A/C thermostat was broken upon arrival put in a work order and was told that if the a/c comes on the thermostat works properly... If that is the case how come when set my ac on auto and 80 degrees it never turns off...)
*Dog doo-doo everywhere
*Nosey ghetto a$$ neighbors.... (This apt has to be the headquarter for all the no lifers who live in west houston)
*Trash compactor in the back of complex. Trash is never thrown in the compactor becasue of this the smell is ungodly... Also this is the only trash station for a complex with over 600 Residents.
All in all I got a 500 dollar best buy gift card out of it and pay 678 a month for a 2bd 2 ba... In my opinion it is not worth it... Please just keep going if this apartment complex is on your list of apts to visit...

These are the worst neighbors...loud and super ghetto. They play loud music, the kids roam and play all over the property (riding bikes, skateboarding, playing football & etc, when there is a park about a block away. Don't think of going to the pool...it's taken over by unruly and unsupervised kids!), some residents open the doors to their apartments and congregate outside, other choose to go outside to talk (or rather yell) on their cell phones. And management is unconcerned and unprofessional (after you move in). Before you "sign on the dotted line," management gives you the impression that they are selective regarding potential residents...but, when you move in you see they let anybody move in!!

I was really outraged when I saw the management and staff having a drinking and partying in the clubhouse (and outside in the parking lot). So, we're paying for them to use a clubhouse that we don't have access to.

I agree totally with everything you guys are saying...we have lived here for almost two years and have put in over 30 work orders on our ac unit inside and out and they still haven't fixed it. I have had two surgerys and tied up in a confrontation with the "maintenance manager". (THE LOSER!) I do say to folks that don't know any better, DON'T MOVE IN HERE!!!!!!...THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU THEY JUST CARE ABOUT THE GREEN BACKS YOU BRING IN YA POCKET!
