If you want to see inner-city trash-slum shyte, come on through to 2020 Bentworth dr. 77077. Only one 'compactor' and one green sled aka long commercial dumpster, no box dumpsters, few of the residents, mainly low IQ and poor gene pool types have a severe love for spreading their filth throughout the complex. Trash, weed, dog shite, rubbers-used condoms- broken things, disgusting 'ethnic' foods, which are so good they feel we should all see what they had from their muddahland. We were some of the first 20 residents to check-in to Garbage Acres, and back then, not to bad. Quite, plenty of parking, and friendly office ppl. Now, flip that 180. The office ppl, especially Tina, suck it deluxe! This place needs a fresh crew. The poor groundskeppers do a great job. Really, no lie. However, there are only 4 or 5 of them, and they outrightly confess (in espanol) there is a lack of supplies, equipment, manpower, communication, time, resources, and an endless list of broken water pipes in these apts. We have had our place flood on April 20th, 2009, and have yet to have the carpets and padding properly replaced. This is being written 5 months later, still to no resolve. I called the 3 voicemails of the 'corporate' office, no reply. Safety is a concern here too. Lots of marijuana use in public by the "Black Skate Kids" that take over the parking lot, at 5pm, just when many are arriving 'home'. In fact, my neighbor above threatened my life and those of my 2 younger children. Police came, did what they could do, office ppl did nothing. She lives in Apt #364 and works at Tossed eatery on Eldridge and Briar Forest. Yep, move on in here, get to see daily trash mountains, drug activity, ignorant, genetically defective sub-human consum-a-pigs, and be threatened by the people above you. If you are white, don't bother, really, no,i am not joking! not at all. You will be the '------' here.

I used to live at another Abbey property just down the street from this one and I would not recommend it to anyone, I am not going to go into the reasons just read the posts under Chelsea Court Apartments and you will get an understanding of why. However to bring race up in your review will cause people to discredit it,not that I disagree with the majority of your statements. One thing you have to keep in mind is the folks who run Abbey Residential, they are aware of the problems at the properties but there main concern is to money bottom line. And I am willing to bet the those folks are not black. Personally, I think it's pretty crazy that they would spend such a significant amount of money on renovation but not have higher standards for their residents they approve for move in. They tell you they need a larger deposit because they are repositioning the property but that's a joke, it's the same type of people (all races) moving in that caused problems when the property was owned by someone else. So really who's to blame...

am planning to move in here. however, am getting scared, not because of the reviews i read. am getting scared because of the type of guys that live here e.g. the one that wrote the first review above, his use of race, nasty uncivilized language filled with rage and hatred.
