Alta brook is the worst complex i have ever lived in. The gates are broken everyday, and cars and apartments are getting broken into on a daily basis. My washing machine has been broken for three weeks, i have callled and no one has attempted to come. We have a bug problem that they have not taken care of, too. When we moved in, our aparment was not completely ready...no shower nozzle, not painted...etc There is hardly ever anyone in the office to reach about these problems. People who do not live here sneak in to use the gym, pool, and workout room. The walls are paper thin. I could go on and on, but bottom line DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! It would be a giant mistake!!!

I didagree with you. I have stayed at Alta Brook since 02/2005 and I have had a great experience. TRUTH is people who have bug problems usually have them because of living habits. I have seen one bug in the 10 1/2 months I've stayed there and they fumigated within two days of me reporting it. I do agree that the walls are paper thin and management could be a little less lazy. But, they always get things done in a timely manner and send notices to residents when things like break-ins happen. The one thing I don't like is the climb in rates. But, to keep the "bad apples" out, you have to pay like you weigh.

well, when i first moved in we had crazy ants... yes, there IS A BUG PROBLEM!!! when you have a new building ants are very common. secondly, my washing machine has been broken for the past 6 months... oh, and when i moved to a larger apt in the same alta brook complex, the whole apartment smelled of dog urine.. yet, they told me they "shampooed the carpets"
