Turned out for the worst

When we first moved here, it was wonderful. Everything seemed great. But after a few months of gates that residents constantly broke and parking overload, it became unbearable. I have been here a year and glad to move out. Especially now that the Katrina victims have moved in, there are cars disappearing, getting broken into, and now a girl was kidnapped and raped. I wouldn't have my worst enemy move here.

You shouldn't base the happenings in those apartments on the katrina victims because it could have very well been Houstonians who broke into those cars and kidnapped and raped that girl. YOU should be more considerate because you could be in the same situation this hurricane season. How would YOU like it if we had to relocate and everyone blamed all the crimes on YOU??

tsuladi, while it could have been a Houstonian that committed the crime, the victims of Hurricane Katrina who were uncivilized and ignorant BEFORE the storm are now in Houston and are STILL uncivilized and ignorant. Therefore, i would definitely say any increase in crime could very well be attributed to said evacuees. This is coming from a civilized, college-educated, accountant from New Orleans.
