If this property is so great (hmmm), then why is their rating score so low' Most of the comments posted on here, with the exception of yours, are quite true. Some things may be slightly embellished, but the irony is that everyone is basically saying the same thing.

1. Mary Ellen is not one of the most customer-friendly people.

2. The gates are always broken which increases the risks of theft, vandalism and/or any other crime, God forbid.

3. Parking has become a major issue. With the cost of rent, all residents should be issued a decal or something. I know that the guys who live above me are definitely in violation of their lease agreement because I have seen more than 6 people (same faces) in and out of the apt which affects parking.

4. Whoever thought of the dumpster idea at the entrance, obviously has never lived in a apartment before. That type of gadget is meant for enclosed apartments like that on "Melrose Place". Mary Ellen should implement valet trash pick-up to prove that she is capable of being a real property manager.

5. The main reason people stay here or tolerate the complex is because of its beauty. Each apt is very unique and I received many compliments from friends and family. But, I would definitely not trade having something beautiful over personal safety. Some things surely need improvement and soon.

6. Some of the residents are very noisy, possibly due to poor wall insulation. But some are noisy simply because they lack civilization and may need to find other lodging...hint, hint...the guys I mentioned above.

This is all to say that with these improvements, this complex could be ideal to many prospective residents. Currently, it is a livable environment (with the exception of the ghetto Wal-mart across the street) and I would recommend this complex to tohers, but would advise to discuss property enhancement goals with Mary Ellen.
