The good: the place is really nice as far as landscaping, the pool, and the grounds are concerned. The maintenance team is excellent! They are there for the residents at all hours! Parking is pretty good, I haven't had too many problems. The people I HAVE met are really nice, but most people keep to themselves. You have easy access to everything! There is every store, every restaurant you could ever want within walking distance.
The bad: the rent is incredible! To renew my lease my rent btwn the pet rent and the water bill is going up about $250 which is more then I care to pay for a one bed one bath! ALOT of traffic and god forbid the lights malfunction! I've had problems with the assistant manager and one of the leasing consultants. Even though everything has been fixed I still receive attitude or rolling of the eyes when they see me. Among other things. You can hear everything throught the walls, ceiling and floors.
Even with the bad, I would like to stay at piney creek, but to pay close to a thousand dollars for a one bed... that's just not economically in the cards for me. If there was a way to keep my current rent I would renew, but I doubt they will okay that!

I do apologize that your rent is being increased. Unfortunately, markets go up usually every year and that affects how we market renewals. We are more than willing to work with you on your renewal rate. Unfortunately, you will probably still have an increase but we may be able to either give you an upfront discount or some other deal. Please stop by the office and we will be more than willing to discuss this with you.
I do apologize that you have had problems with members of the staff in the past. You may have grabbed one of us on a bad day, and we may have been upset about something previous. I do want you to know we do appreciate all of our residents and feel that we are working towards a better environment everyday.
Please understand that as much as we want everyone to stay increases in rent are inevitable. We do have a program that comes around and cleans up after animals twice a week as well, and pet rent covers such services. If you have any questions please feel free to contact the office. Thank you for your time.
