Nice Staff, Old buildings

It really depends on which block you live in. I've lived in the property for almost two years and have stayed in different apartments. At first I stayed in the 900 building. The floor plan of the apartment was huge, though the block is kind of dirty and had some bad neighbors. It especially sucks when you have to deal with them in the laundry room. The interior was fine, old but well maintenanced. It was also kind of loud because it was right by West Dallas.
I moved to the 1400 building a few months later. It's the most expensive block but has washer and dryer in the apartment and the floor plan is nicer. The most important thing is that it's really quiet. It's away from the main road and the other side is a back street. Landscape is very nice as well as the pool. There are also some bad neighbors but the good ones outnumber them. Again it's quite old and needs maintenance a lot of time, but they have pretty good maintenance team (ask for Roy for maintenance, quick work, nice guy).
The gym is nice but is always out of drinking water and towel. Be ware of freaky people in the gym when you go at night. One time I walked in with the lights out and a naked guy running out.
There's basically no security. One gate key can get you through all the different blocks and the gym. A lot of time the gates are unlocked anyway. Brake-ins happen but management seems to be aware and concerned.
Oh and the property parties suck. I won't go again...
By the way for some reason all the staffs that work in the office are good looking, especially the hot manager Brenda and sweet Estelle. Even the guys that work there are nice and polite. It's a pleasure just to walk in there and have a little chat with them when you go pick up your packages.
Overall I like the place (the 1400 block, not the 900 one) and enjoy the quietness. You can't beat the location (less than 5 minutes to downtown through Allen Parkway). The only thing is they keep raising the rent for quite a bit (over a 100 dollars every time) even though I've lived there for almost two years.
I would recommend people to go over and see what they have to offer since they have so many different apartments there. Be sure to ask for tours to different blocks and buildings and avoid the crappy ones.
