I have lived in 8 different complexes in the past 20 years. The Management at the ALLEN HOUSE is far the worst I've seen. ------------- is the most unpleasant lady I"VE EVER MET. I came into the office with a service issue. She told me to call maintence my self. She is always extremely rude never having the time to deal with anyone except new clients. The water is very dirty and rust looking from OLD pipes and poorly maintained buildings. I have rats running in the ac duct work, ------ wasn't intrested in hearing our concerns about that either. This is an apartment in River Oaks that cost almost $800 per month. It is GROSS and dirty. You have been warned GO SOMEWHERE ELSE

I lived at the Allen House for 2 years until I got married and it was great. The manager was very very pleasant. She listens to you and responds quickly to any issues. The place was well maintained for an aged place. I would recommend this place to anyone that would like a great place to stay that is centrally located. The office staff was great as well as the maintenance department. They make you feel at home and not just another number. Sorry you had a bad experience but mine was greattttttttttt!
