VERY UNPROFESSIONAL

Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2007
I was happy with Allen House but that quickly changed when they sent us the letters to be out by June 1st. I can understand their reasoning in renovating (the apartments were not horrible but they were falling apart)but how it was done was very unprofessional. Although they claim not to have known about it I highly doubt that. A big renovation like this is not something that is thought of or heard about in a few weeks. I use to work for a leasing office and when we decided to renovate corporate informed us a whole year in advance so we could inform those people that did want to move in of the renovation. They could have offered more help and better incentives for moving. All of the leasing offices I have spoke with all agreed that Allen House did not handle this renovation well and there is not way they did not know about the renovation. In a nut shell they are playing the dumb role but I amd everyone else knows that they allowed people to sign long term leases knowing that in June they were going to have to leave again. It just not right.
