When i was looking for an apartment i read all of the reviews on this website. Mainly it was all about thefts on the complex. Then i went on the HPD website and I saw that it not only happens there it happens on all of the apartment complexes on Almeda and mostly to say the truth in the Medical Center lets face it "The Medical Center" is just a fancy word for the inner loop which we all know is not the safest and also Houston for those that dont know is the 4th largest city in the US crime happens everywhere. Atleast everywhere that i have lived and i have lived anywhere from the north to the south side and all inbetween. Before going to lease i tried to drive the complex at night but the guard at the front did not let me in because i didnt live there and he said i didnt have some sort of a parking sticker. To me it looked pretty safe so i came in the next day and looked at an apartment. I am a single female student and the prices were the best around for the quality which i liked cause they have some new and old ones and even the old ones were nice. I asked the office staff about all the things i read and they were very good and helpful to explain it all to me. So to make a long story short i leased here and so far for the last 4 months it has been great. I love it here its close to school and all that i need. I think that people do need to do their research before they lease somewhere but dont believe everything you hear. I would recommend this place to anyone that needs a very affordable nice quiet place to live.
