In mid-November, I submitted an application to rent at 7100 Almeda. We were approved but I had to pay an extra $150 deposit due to my bad credit. No big deal. I was literally packing boxes and had SIGNED A LEASE earlier that day when one of the all-stars from the office called and said our application was rejected. This was on December 15, a whole month after we were told we were approved. My girlfriend was told that it was because of a prior misdemeanor that I had. This was false because I currently live at a complex owned by the same company. By the time I got back to where I currently reside, the MANAGERS FROM 7100 ALMEDA were in our office talking to our manager. They began to say that we had too much traffic in and out of our current apartment, and one of our guests was breaking into cars. I'm a 3.9 student who chooses his friends carefully. None of this was true and I believe there were alterior motives for not letting us move in. They obviously kept the money we had given them to that point and left us high and dry (we had 14 days to find a new place. BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU RENT WITH THESE PEOPLE!!!!!
