I lived here for a little over a year: March 2003 - May 2004. The management is great, always very helpful and friendly. They offer gated parking lots for many of the apartments. For what you get, it's a steal in Montrose. The pool is a little small but quiet and I hardly ever saw anyone using it. The complex itself is beautifully landscaped and quite peaceful.

However, there was a problem with bike theft. Somebody took a blow torch to my boyfriend's $100 bike lock and was able to steal it. Residents don't always lock the gates behind them, and vagrants can get in. Also, the kitchen had sort of old tile in it and was hard to keep clean.

For less than $600 a month in Montrose, this is hard to beat. It gets my recommendation!
