Thats what drew me in in 1997 when I first met up with Apache Springs!!! For the first year Me and my wife and 2 young children were among a mix of School teachers, Flight attendants, Police officers, Fireman and the likes. It was an older complex, but kept up nice with a friendly staff and maint. crew.

And then BOOM. Everything changed. Jump ahead 7 years to the time when we could not take anymore. Now the tenants are rowdy college students (6 or 7 in a 2 bedroom unit). Wanted felons, drug users (and dealers) And the lovely hispanic familys (9 or 10 in a 2 bedroom unit.) The landscaping turned to dirt(except at the office to draw people in) 1 of the 2 pools has been closed for 3 years, the fitness center now has only 1 piece of equip. half working and 7 others that do not work at all, a fence that is either tore down completely or damaged all around, a hot tub that never has worked, (finally tore it out and replaced with a bush) loud partys all night long, shootings, plenty of vehicle theft and vandalizing including my own TWICE!!

I never have dialed 911 in my 40 years of living. In the last 3 years I probably called it 10 times for serious stuff including drug crazed people breaking in to my unit while I was home. And wirst of all the management has gotten so bad that it is an I dont care attitude. I had a first floor unit and on 3 occasions the upper units had serious water leaks wich saturated my wall and floors in several rooms causing serious mold problems. My ceilings and walls looked like a checkerboard from all the repairs and the paint didnt match.

Too many more problems to list and can only be glad to escape with my familys life. My suggestion to you is DONT MOVE HERE!!!!

The streets are safer....If for some reason you decide to move in, get a PO BOX. The mail is constantly stolen. And by a $200.00 car, something you can throw away after the wheels and tire are stolen and the dash board is destroyed.

P.S. I think they are offering a move in special for wanted or convicted felons. Deffinetly no background or credit checks will be done so your in luck!!!!

My god!! Im moving in right away. I just got out of prison and need a place for me and my ten ex-con buddies to stay. Wer quite (during the day) but love to party and shoot our guns all night long. We have good income, selling our crack and meth and wont bother the neighbors unless they turn us in. Then we will ------- kill them. This place is great cause they dont do backgrond checks!!!! And I can have sex with the little neighbor girls cuase there moms are passed out drunk. my friends love coming here and skating in the broken pools. My favorite thing to do here is steal mail!!
