This web site is so completely one sided. I've been in this industry for over 20 years and this is a complete disgrace to the multi-family industry. Quite frankly and insult to the the intelligence of our consumers. I have absolutely no issues with residents voicing their concerns they have done so for many years through the BBB and/or News Stations, however, before printing potentially slanderous information both the BBB and News Stations inform the landlord of the complaint and conduct an informal investigation allowing the landlord to explain their side a fair process to all parties.

I have randomly reviewed many of your listed communities and can see that these rating system is completely one sided. I can also see where the same folks are who did not get their way regarding a lease break clause or some sort of rule that they felt should not apply to them are able to go to your web site and write lies over and over again with no validation or proof of any kind. Never mind that those of us who work in this industry are bound by Fair Housing laws and we cannot simply pick choose privileging those who complain over those who do not, it would simply be discriminatory.

The fact that this company will now allow the landlord to rebutle only if they pay a nominal $$$FEE is a joke! What disgusts me the most is that a resident can be mad because they had to pay a late fee when rent was ummmm LATE so they can go on this web site say whatever lies they so choose then they can just mark poor on everything regarding the property and apartment home skewing the ratings...don't you find it funny that someone who is unhappy about paying a late fee all of the sudden lives on a property that is trashy, not SAFE, the lighting is the worst, there is NO parking. Give me a break! Oh and my personal favorite that a BRAND NEW AAA community if "falling apart".

I certainly feel this web site has its place if done in a fair and monitored manor. If a resident has a specific complaint that they feel was not addressed to their satisfaction they should be able to express it however, it should be controlled not slanderous, they should not be able to suddenly claim that every single thing in the community is POOR as that is a LIE. This type of information is NOT helping the consumers because it s so SKEWED! The landlord should be notified be allowed to tell their side and then and only then can a complaint fairly be posted.
