I've lived here since right before Hurricane Ike. Repairs began on the Monday immediately after the storm and within 2 weeks most everything was repaired and cleaned up. The washaterias are locked after hours because SOMEONE cut water & electrical lines to several of the washing machines and yanked them out of the wall. All you have to do is ask for a key. Same thing with the fitness center ... locked after hours because of theft. All you have to do is ask for the code. And yes, the complex is a pet friendly complex so people do have cats & dogs BUT during the time I've lived here I have never encountered a viscious animal. AND for those who choose not to clean up after their animals despite the multiple waste disposal centers available, there is a someone who walks the property and picks up trash & animal waste ... I've seen him. As for the allegations that the new management is "white" unfriendly and harboring "illegals" ... give me a break!!!! I AM white. Many of the problems that currently exist were inherited from previous management. Despite that, I have found both management and maintenance personnel to be both responsive & friendly. The ONLY complaint I have is about the "roach" problem. I suspect however, that one request (complaint) would quickly remedy that problem. Let me suggest that management can only do so much to address any problems we have and it seems to me that they have gone above & beyond to provide the amenities promised ... as resident, we must act responsibly by communicating our concerns and allow management enough time to address the issues.
