Yo!

convenient location, but staff is bad

I chose this complex because I'm a student at UT and there are two UT buildings and rec center across the street, and the UT shuttle picks up outside the back gate. It costs a little more than the adjacent complexes (Parque View, Holly Hall), but it's newer and was recently rennovated.

We had a lot of problems early on. A/C didn't work(but fixed immediatly), gate and mail box keys didn't work. The big problem was with the garage. We had requested it on our application and assured some were available, but they didn't have it when we moved in and paid. We were given the run-around for a few weeks, always getting different explanations and being told to come back in the next day (no, they said they couldn't just call when it was ready). We were given a free month in the end, but the one we got is as far from our apartment as possible. Do not pay for a garage until you have the remote in your hand and have checked it out.

The staff is worst thing about the complex. They have like 50 people who apparently work there one hour a week. You never talk to the same person twice and no one knows how to do anything other than take a message for the manager who is never there.

The shuttle is nice, but the night and weekend shuttle does not follow the schedule and you have to go out about 20 minutes before the time because they come early, but also late sometimes. When I complained to the office, they said it was run by an outside company and not their problem. Same situation with the exterminators. I had forgotten they were coming and left some money out that morning. It was missing when I got home, but when I called the office - again, outside company and not their problem.

The gate doesn't keep anyone out. There are so many people coming in and out that you don't need need a pass. Just follow someone in.

Overall, if you can avoid the staff and have an alarm on your car, it's not too bad.
