Ups and Downs From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 7/27/2005 Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2005   Like the other posters mentioned...Archstone looks nice on the outside and inside. I love the look, I like the space, and the rent isnt all that bad. BUT, parking is HORRIBLE. They only have one dumpster, which is at the VERY end of the complex, so if you're like me...cant stand the smell of old trash, you will make plenty of walks to the dumpster throughout the week. Management is ok. Carolyn and Scott have always been professional with me. The apartment is in the mix of Westheimer, so its constant traffic and noise if you live on the side that faces Westheimer. Since I have been there, I have heard and read about at least 3 assaults (robbery) near and at the complex. They actually just placed more lighting in the parking lots, which to me, didnt help much. So, think about these things before moving. I will definitely move when my lease is up.
